Section 14 Group 4

Today our topic was on vagueness. We discussed that we agree that vagueness exists, many things in this world are specific, given that we have the ability to characterize it.


Vagueness surrounds us in many different ways. We compared it to the infinite.

(T/F) Williamson insisted that there was no defined point where a heap of sand was no longer a heap of sand.

    I agree that many things in this world are specific and we have the ability to characterize it. Comparing it to the infinite just shows that there are many things that are considered vague, yet how are we to define them.
