Section 14 Group 3 (11/6)

Today we talked about Popper and Kuhn. They were both scientific philosophers. We pretty much agree with their ways of thinking. Popper believed that scientists should try to prove their hypotheses false instead of trying to prove them correct because more can be learned that way. Kuhn brings up the concept of paradigms and paradigm shifts. Dr. Oliver mentioned that the scientists most everybody knows (Newton, Einstein, etc.) are the ones who challenged the paradigm of the time and caused it to shift and change everyone's way of thinking. Thursday we are talking about John Rawls.
