Section 13 Group #1 Turing

My apologies for the late post.

Turing was a mathematician who crunched the numbers and assisted in the development of the modern computer for his time.  Since then he had invented the Turing test which helped the decision as to which a computer was actually considered intelligent.

Does Turings test a good judge of intelligence?  If not, what would you suggest as a test to determine the level of intellect from a computer?  In addition to that, what would be the best way to determine if a human or a computer was responding to your questions?

Food for thought.

Mike..

  1. Although computers may be able to be programmed like humans, I believe that they would be missing the Emotinal Quotient that humans have. Unless they make an app for that too.

FQ: What test gives you a choice to talk to a computer or human?

DQ: How did Turing die? Inhalation or ingestion of cyanide poisoning.

  3. Stephen Law: Law connects the relationship between god and evil and questions the judeo-christian concept of god.

f- Does Law believe suffering is a type of evil? Yes

D- If god controls all earthly happenings, does that make him both good and evil? I believe so, consider natural disasters and deadly diseases
