The power of conversation, and the art of listening
The latest installment of This American Life, the radio show, airs a powerful message directly related to what we've been trying to do in this class: open ourselves to mind- and life-altering conversations about what matters; to expand our awareness of, and sympathy for, other persons and possibilities. It's not as hard as we imagine, once we begin to really listen.
