7 and 1/2 Americans (Gr. 2 Sec. 9)
Today we talked about the debate on if there is a god or not and if there is a god then why is there evil? We than discussed why evil would even exist in the first place. According to Stephen Law this irrational violence that takes place in our world makes it clear that there could not possibly be an all knowing, all good, all benevolent god. We then talked about if suffering could possibly be a good thing and if different interpretations of why suffering takes place could, in some situations, be considered a good thing.
