7 and 1/2 Americans (Gr. 2 Section 19)
Today We went over the "Chinese Room Experiment" which basically says that a machine doens' t actually know what it is they are processing. We concluded that there will never be a fully awakened conscience because a human brain grows and has neurons that are always changing and making new connections whereas a computer only possesses what you give it in terms of software (knowledge)
