First Installment: Paul Reed Smith
Paul Reed Smith has been making guitars under his company name for thirty years. His philosophy is to make a guitar that is "both perfectly balanced asthetically and tonally." Most manufacturers try and churn out as many guitars in a year as they can sell, Paul Reed Smith believes love should be put into every guitar no matter what the final selling price is. Each guitar is carefully finished by hand the only process that involves machine manufacturing of his guitars is the basic shape of the neck and body, every other aspect is finalized by the hands of crafters who love music and making guitars for everyone to love.
