Thunder Dragons

It looks like we are finally coming along with our group project! Remember everybody to do your Research and have it submitted by Friday. You can send to Anthony's email or post it on here. It would probably be easier to send it by email. Just a reminder, you can find the emails on our class page in Pipeline.

Jake will be Immanuel Kant, and Edward will be John Stuart Mill.

Researches make sure to have solid information and question or else we will have nothing to build our performance on.

If anybody has any suggestions, comments, or questions about our project just leave a comment below.

Morality- accepted moral standards: standards of conduct that are generally accepted as right or proper

Ethics- study of morality's effect on conduct: the study of moral standards and how they affect conduct

Just something to think about, what makes Ethics different than morality? They must be distinguished.

    1. I'm Carson Odom, not Truckson Odom. My friend was being silly when he put my name down on the sheet of paper.

    2. Summary: We did a powerpoint describing two different philosophers and their point of view on morality and ethics. We provide a definition of their different points of view as a brief overview of their philosophy. The two philosophers we chose were Immanuel Kant and John Stuart Mill. At the end we give each philosopher a situation so we can apply their moral philosophy to modern controversial topics.

Jake Bruce--- Did research on Immanuel Kant and is the designated speaker for him.
Carson Odom--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.
Tori Hartline--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.
Brandy Barnes--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.
Gil Olerud--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.

Each researcher was asked to provide several questions, which they did and we pooled it all together in order to come up with better situations to lead us into new research.

Edward Davila is the designated speaker for John Stuart Mill
Lamonteze Pamell--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes. Provided a series of flyers to be passed out much like a ballot so people can vote on their favorite of our two chosen philosophers.
Jordan Peffley---Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.
Zoe Ottley--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.
Neveisa Smith--- Did extensive research on Immanuel Kant and provided several quotes.

Each researcher was asked to provide several questions, which they did and we pooled it all together in order to come up with better situations to lead us into new research.

Toni Metheny--- worked with Jake Bruce in order to pool everyone's research together and place it into a powerpoint presentation to be presented to the class. He also did his own research.

  3. Looks like our project will be great. Hopefully the rest of the class will have a better understanding about morality and ethics according to the two philosophers we're presenting.
