I personally dont agree how in the post says were socially isolated.just because how technology is is getting so advance with video chatting and chat sites. therefor you are not being socially isolated.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with the post in regards to how time seems strangely warped. Time seems to go by so quickly, when it comes to days (in my opinion). Though minutes and hours seem to drag so much longer. I understand how the post refers to "socially isolating", you can chat online and do video calls, but its never the same as going to a location and socializing in person. The interaction between online and in person cannot be compared. I agree with the post.
ReplyDeleteTo me, these weeks of isolation have given me a great excuse to bury my nose in a fantasy book and completely lose track of time while escaping to another world. These times, I believe, are what sci-fi and fantasy are made for. I'm currently reading "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, and it's doing a wonderful job of allowing me to tune out the fear and uncertainty of the outside world. A welcome pool of time to sink myself into.
