Stoic wisdom on anxiety from Marcus Aurelius


I've been on an Aurelius kick since my research for our class presentation and @Dailystoic is a great twitter account for his wisdom—along with many of his contemporaries. This statement on anxiety is personally encouraging to me.

  2. I researched the Stoics as well and I must say it is really interesting to see how their thought process deviated from others at the time. It is one of the ancient philosophy's that is still respected today by many.

  3. Anxiety is a complicated topic and for some it's not as simple as just disregarding it. Nonetheless, this is the case for many and people should exercise their ability to free themselves from worry!
