Personal Intro: Dallas Adams (Section 8)

Hi y'all! I'm Dallas Nicole Adams. :) I am a freshman who is majoring in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law. I'm actually considering changing my major to Psychology. Why the change? Well, I primarily aspire to deal in criminal law (defense or prosecution, doesn't really matter) or family affairs (custody grants, divorce, adoption, child/spousal support,...etc.). To backtrack just a bit (Sorry!), I have a passion for children and an even greater passion for understanding and shaping/reforming/mentoring troubled young children. I feel as though some adults in this world are the way they are because they have had no guidance or anyone to take the time to properly straighten them up. If things are implemented early enough, and carefully enough (all children aren't the same and should not be treated as such), then I believe that their futures can be greatly and positively affected. I did all that rambling to say that if my mindset changes on becoming a lawyer (or going to law school), I want to become a school counselor, preferably in elementary schools. I look forward to philosophy this semester, and I look forward to interacting with all my "Section 8" people. :)
