I am posting this as an author because I cannot get
on the first blog comment space. My name is Elizabeth Barnard and I am
currently in group 4 in my class. I am currently planning on majoring in Business
Finance and minoring in Political Science. I am planning on going to Law School
as well. I also am planning on joining the philosophy club. My current understanding
of philosophy is that I have a big belief that science is a large factor in all
aspects of life no matter how big or small. It is easier said than done to make
the right decisions for my best interest and what works best in society, but
that is why I am currently going to MTSU! I want to get educated so I can learn
how society functions for the benefit of all the people in it.
I just started reading my Political Science book for
this semester. I found it to be insightful, as well as philosophical. It
explains how political interest includes one’s self and a group. It is
interesting how politics can be sub-divided into different categories and
turned in to something as small as individual case studies. It is very
important to view how groups and individuals interact with each other while
they are able to co-exist and progress instead of digress.
