Personal Info (Section 008)

Ello, my name is Elisha Hartley. I'm 18 and from Smyrna, TN. I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education in hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher. I'm pretty excited about it because I love kids and I'll get paid to go on field trips! And I want to have a chinchilla as a class pet! I like movies, music, candy, Thai food, soccer, long distance running, Hello Kitty, drawing, traveling, reading, animals (especially puppies and kitties), and a lot of other stuff. I'm such a little kid on the inside... Anyways, as I said earlier I love reading and this is relevant because I've read Plato's Republic while on sitting on airplanes during my many travels. It's my traveling book! So that's about my only exposure to Philosophy, but I feel like Philosophy is questioning our world in order to find a greater understanding of what it means to be alive and maybe how we should live our lives? I think the more we question things, the more we learn.

  1. Good job Elisha! I like the way that you think. I really favored the way you stated Philosophy in your Introduction! Well done!
