Group 4 Section 8 1/25

Our group discussion was centered on the theme of Zoroastrianism, however we expanded the conversation to talk on the subject of religion in general in our generation today.  With that we ask this discussion question:  What is the difference between religion and a relationship with God and also can a civilization exist without some form of religion?

Q: Zoroastrianism is the belief of how many God(s)?
A: 1

  1. I honestly can not tell you the difference between religion and a relationship with God. I would think they closely related. But to the second question. No I do not think a civilization can exist without some form of religion because we all need something to believe and follow by. Our religion is basically our life guide. It tells us which direction is best for us and which direction is not. Without any thing to look forward to and live by I think this civilization would be lost.

  2. I feel like a civilization could not exist without a religion because people need something to believe in. I don't know the difference between religion and relationship with God. What is Socrates beliefs? What is happiness?
