section 13 group 3

Today in group three we introduced ourselves to the rest of the group and discussed where we came from and what are majors are and so forth. We then talked about personal philosophies. Everyone seemed to have a different opinion on the philosophy of life. My personal philosophies are no regrets and everything happens for a reason.

  1. My personal philosophy is Never live with the regret of not knowing. It makes life more fun and you learn more about yourself. It might sound a bit more wordy than no regrets but they are about the same i guess...

  2. I look forward to hearing more from both of you about "no regrets"... Is that like Satchel Paige's "Don't look back, somethin' might be gainin' on you?"

  3. My personal philosophy is that everything happens for a reason. No matter what happens during the day its meant to happen.

  4. I feel like my personal philosophies change all the time. One that I consistently believe in though is "everything happens for a reason." It's a pretty common one, but I find a lot of truth to it. I believe that every person you meet, and every experience you have are all meant to contribute to the big picture.

  5. I don't really have a lot of personal philosophy, but I do admire Marilyn Monroe for her philosophy. It may seem a little weird, but it seems that she always said what any other woman wouldn't dare and it just made sense. In class as my philosophy I said "Ever notice how what the hell is always the right answer." -Monroe I am a firm believer in God and I know that all things happen according to God's plan, but sometimes these beings that we call humans make me question their thoughts and actions.

  6. I think my personal philosophy is like a pretty much the same as what we talked about. If you make a decision, be happy with that decision. Life is all about having fun and if you have to deal with thinking you did the wrong thing or didn't take a chance you should have taken then it's not fun.
