7 and 1/2 Americans (Group 2 section 19)
it was a mild day on a wednesday afternoon when 7 individuals met and talked amongst themselves about fascinating individuals such as Plato and Socrates. We discussed how Plato took credit for stuff that Socrates said and how Socrates said goodbye to his wife and didn't tell his kids or wife he was going to die which is pretty strange. We talked about the cave and how the people disregarded Socrates' knowledge and didn't see the light arrogantly ending his life. Then we discussed the universe and other things such as the philosophy behind fantasy football and also discussed the origination of the word aristocracy and whether or not it derived from Aristotle's name or if it was just a coincidence. After we returned from the fire alarm going off we talked about things like jobs involving a major in Philosophy and how being a park ranger would be lonely. Then we contemplated on leaving civilization and running into the wild and living out the rest of our lives in thought not worrying about anything other than what our minds conjured up. Overall it was a very interesting meeting.
