As a Catholic, I often wrestle with the idea of God. Who he is, what he does, how involved is he in our lives as people. I have also been raised in the Catholic school system since kindergarten and thus I have been brought up with Christian values, such as the golden rule of "Treat others the way you wish to be treated." Now I can't say I'm perfect at it, but I try.

I came across this video about a month or two ago from the Youtube Channel "Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell," and it was very thought-provoking for me. This opened my mind to the possibility that this video presents, that we are all one. This really drives the idea of treating others the way you'd want to be treated because that's exactly what you're doing. Every good deed you've done for another, you've done for yourself. Every transgression against someone else, you've done against yourself.

The idea that we are all one, moving consciousness, a fetal God, was very strange to me at first but yet, from a religious perspective, this gives me a different view of the phrase "Child of God."

    Once we all come to the realization that we are all one the world would be much more peaceful. I believe in the end all the people who believe that we have a higher power we will all end up in the same afterlife..

    I've actually seen this video a few times in the past. Im not sure this video got it perfect but i've had some conversations with friends expanding upon this idea. Perhaps its not that we have to live every life of every person but that we are all aspects of a whole energy.

    This was a very interesting and thought-provoking video so thank you for posting it. This video really makes you think about if the human soul exists as an entity itself and makes me think about the "Ghost in the Machine" theory. I believe that reincarnation is a real thing about this video is great for shedding more light on the subject.
