  1. Exactly. People choose to slow down their peers or try to discourage them out of their success out of jealousy. In my book that act is unforgivable.

  2. I don't know if Plato really said that, it sounds a bit modernish... but it's a great thought.

I shrunk your image, btw, it was a little wide.

Discouraging innovators can inhibit progress in society itself. However, I do not think discouragement would altogether stop a person from making progress, it might just cause it to slow down.

  4. It is a great thought to interpret no matter who said it. Some of the greatest inventions to mankind nearly did not finish because of the extreme hatred the inventors felt. A little patience can never hurt, especially in the modern day.

  5. I like this quote. Progress is progress, sometimes people are just doing the best they can with what they’ve got. Section 6

  6. I think this is a wonderful concept to keep in mind while interacting with others. There's a song lyric from The Mountain Goats that echoes this: "When you punish a person for dreaming his dream don't expect him to thank or forgive you."

I think that we should all show this quote to our parents because sometimes they don't believe that we are doing everything we can to achieve our goals.
