God Is Everywhere! Ludichrist...

I worked at this club in New York called CBGB as the assistant manager in the mid 80s. This band 'Ludichrist' played there. We all sat around and laughed when they came out with this song. It's funny and profound!

Here's a link.

Here's the lyrics:

God Is Everywhere
Ludichrist

God is everywhere, God is everywhere
They put him there.
God is in my soap, God is on my rope.
They cleanse my mind everyday
And wash away all hope

God is everywhere, God is everywhere
They put him there.
God is in my soap, God is on my rope.
They cleanse my mind everyday
And wash away all hope

When I eat potato chips,
There is a god in my dip.
Everytime I get the blues
There is a god in my shoes.
When mankind took a giant step,
There was a god on the moon.
And you might not believe it,
But there's a god in this tune.
God is in my soap, God is on my rope.
I cleanse my body everyday,
I shower the Pope
HEY WAITER!
There's a god in my soup.
I said WAITER!
There's a god in my soup.
God is everywhere, God is everywhere
They put him there.
