Factual Question:
To what country atheist religions did schopenhower most relate his philosophy to?

A-Greece.

Discussion Question:
According to Schopenhauer, there is no God, nothing made us, we are "accidental animals" and our way of knowing creates the world as we know it. What do you believe he means by this and how did he determine this?

  1. I believe his thoughts were that we are animal, which we all are, but we are the most unique animals there are. We are so special because we have our own lauguage and can do so much including laugh and love. We are indeed animals, but we are the most advananced species there will ever be!

  2. Our way of knowing does create the world we live in. We see this when we learn practically anything new. In my opinion, it is impossible for us to have just been created out of thin air. I believe there has to be something out there that was responsible for putting the first humans on the earth, but afterwards just let us learn and create the world as we know it.
