Identity & racism: Kashuv & Harvard

Was Harvard's rejection of Kyle Kashuv a stand against racism or a refusal to allow for personal growth?

  1. I'm glad the young man is regretful, but I don't think Harvard or any other school is obliged to be the specific vehicle of his personal growth. Admission to the college of your choice is nobody's entitlement, and I'd hate to think of another qualified applicant who was NOT a racist two years ago being bumped in favor of one who was.
