Note the date of that talk, 2010. Truth has been in trouble for quite some time. Lately, double trouble. But let's be careful not to reify truth as something permanent, eternal, static, unchanging, etc. That's Platonism. Reality and truth DO change, over time. It was once true that humans did not possess the power of flight, for instance. That reality became true, thanks to the Wright Bros. & others.
