FQ: Descartes method of doubt suggest what in order to accept or reject ideas? (LH 63)
DQ: Do you think that the method of doubt is the correct form for judging ideas?
I believe that the method of doubt is a decent form for judging ideas but it seems to me like it can spiral out of control much like Pyrrho's skepticism. I would use method of doubt at a surface level for judging scientific and/ or social ideas. Such as new rumored technology or advances in science. But at a deeper level I would not use the method of doubt because it would become uncontrollable. I would have to reject that I live in a reality, and for me, I simply cannot go that far.
