                            Nietzsche's Thoughts and Believes

Friedrich Nietzsche was a German Philosopher, that was born into a changing society. He believed that we as humans we are basically a bridge for ape to superhumans. He stated this in his fictional epic through a character named Zarathustra. The story follows Zarathustra through his educational achievements, and along the way Nietzsche brings to live another character called "the last man" which he describes as nothing more than the end of evolution.
Nietzsche has many believes that can be seen through this story he has composed. He states this last man as the ultimate effect of utilitarianism. He believes this character to be one of our possibilities of evolution. I have recently seen a movie, Idiocracy, with this same idea. It is set in the future where the human race has continuously ignored the unknown and  mysteries of the world along with any type of critical thinking. thus getting them to a point like here for insistence,

where there is not even common knowledge of how plants need water or what electrolytes are in the brawndo, and why the plants supposedly crave these electrolytes. They are ultimately unable to even process new ideas to help themselves. Nietzsche is basically saying if we continue down the path of not doubting what we believe and not questioning everyday life, and not valuing education more, and living the simpler life instead, then we have to potential chance of evolving backwards. I feel he has a very good point. As beings of habit and evolving over time, there is a connection here between the two. If we were to keep the attitude of western thinking as describe previously, we will still be evolving until the simplest of concepts are incomprehensible to the common being.
