COLIN SZKLARSKI SECTION 9 FINAL 2 OF 3

                            NIETZSCHE'S THOUGHTS AND BELIEVES

Have you ever thought about your meaning of life or what the purpose for all beings all this planet not just humans alone? It could be we have been placed here by an higher power or evolved from virtually nothing, but however it has happened what is our purpose at this age in time? By Fredrich Nietzsche's point of view, this era that we live in now is the time to stop thinking as shown in the last post or like the ultimate couch potatoes to a point where ideals must be energetic and creative thoughts pushing us forward. He believed in the need to stop all the traditional thought of peace of mind and apathetic thinking that has founded the western philosophy of postmodernism.  His main point to this is that as part of all nature's creatures we have "will to power" or vitality, and become obsessed to further ourselves by whatever means necessary.

Now relating this to religion and money! If religion works for you, and makes you a better person, then don't let me hinder that. But i feel a good amount of religious institutions use the opportunity to accomplish more in live for the benefit of themselves. Even if it means manipulating others through emotional pursuance. This action is like what Nietzsche is saying, that as an intricate part of nature's creatures we have the will for money or power, and are more adamant about pursuing the material gain. I feel this is related as well to our ego centrism and consciousness. If we are not conscious of our actions and can not care about anyone but ourselves the world is perpetually going to get worse. Consciousness and the will power of humans working together instead, could be the underlying solution to becoming a more connected society of nature.

  1. Not sure how you want to relate the Pinker video to Nietzsche.
