comment for Group 2-17

I couldn't comment under the post so i had to create a new one (sorry). however in response to the discussion question,"is is better to blindly believe or question the beliefs given to you." I personally think that it isn't good to blindly follow anything, i think that in the past blindly following beliefs resulted in racism, sexism, etc. whereas people used religion to justify their actions regardless if they were righteous or not. there are many that manipulate religion for personal gain at the expense of others. therefore, i think there comes a time in every one's life that they must analyse the morals/ beliefs that are given to them through parents, life, etc. and determine if it is beneficial. The true way of life should be able to withstand analyzing. this "analyzing" will occur rather someone wants it to or not, because everyday a persons beliefs are challenged.
