"The pluralistic form takes for me a stronger hold on reality than any other philosophy I know of, being essentially a social philosophy, a philosophy of 'co'"-William James
The first comic is my favorite, as the child is very literal and the grandfather’s only defense is grandma said so, which I believe that’s exactly how that conversation would go if it happened in real life! Grandma knows best
Socrates is an interesting character. He gets a bad rap for being a jerk and saying he knows nothing! Obviously he's still regarded as one of the greatest western philosophers, but it's important to realize the guts it took for him to admit he knows nothing when he's known for being a philosopher and his only job is to know things.
