"The pluralistic form takes for me a stronger hold on reality than any other philosophy I know of, being essentially a social philosophy, a philosophy of 'co'"-William James
I prefer a hybrid philosophy, with a dash of Epicureanism, another of Stoicism, a big helping of Pragmatism, some Aristotelian eudaimonism... Pure anything tends to exclude too much good stuff.
I feel as though you should have a little of both not just Epicureanism and not just stoicism. These are almost attributes to being a human in my opinion.
Epicureanism is the way to go. Life for pleasure.

ReplyDeleteafter researching, I truly believe a balance in different philosophies allows for an open and full life.
ReplyDeleteAfter looking this up i was shocked because it is really hard for me to believe their is such a thing in the world

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a mix of both is the way to go, or at the very least not too headstrong in either
ReplyDeleteLike most things I believe a balance should be struck between accepting once's fate and implementing change in your own life.
