More BS

It is challenging to listen to politicians comments these days when I know the truth of their past comments. Their ignorance of the ease in which information can be retrieved today is astounding, but maybe they are hoping most people won't take the time to check or even if they find contradictions will simply shrug and not care, or worse believe the latest that is said just because it comes from certain individuals and ignore the earlier statements.

I just sent this letter to the editor at the USA Today.

Dear Editor,
I am not buying it. Trump says he didn't want "anything to do with him [Jeffrey Epstein]," and that he was "not a fan of Jeffrey Epstein." He said, “I didn’t want anything to do with him. That was many, many years ago. It shows you one thing -- that I have good taste." This does not add up because in 2002 Trump said that he had known Epstein "for fifteen years" and he praised him as a "terrific guy," and "a lot of fun to be with." So much for "good taste."
We can only hope that the documents that were retrieved from Epstein's properties will further reveal the sordid nature of his activities and his connections with some upper class men who preyed on young girls here and around the world.
I hope reporters pursue this story with the same dogged determination they did in exposing Epstein. They are the only ones with "good taste."

  1. Good letter, unfortunately Trump’s fans have given him carte blanche. They just don’t seem to care that he lies, cheats, steals, assaults women etc. But we must still try to keep them honest.

  2. One has to wonder what Trump meant by "a lot of fun to be with." Trump always abandons people once they are of no use to him or will drag him down.
