Echo in the Canyon
Saw this last night at the Belcourt. Highly recommended, both for the great music and the deep insight into how creative artistry can generate and then thrive on its own synergy. The cross-pollination and mutual respect/regard of those Laurel Canyon legends (Beach Boys, Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, Mamas & Papas, ...) illustrates the interpenetration of personal identity and nurturing community. Wonderful!
