"...Drumpf’s supporters believe God’s hand is on Drumpf, this moment and at the election—that Donald Drumpf is God’s man, in effect—he told me, “Yes—a number of people said they believe there is no other way to explain his victories." That's almost plausible: no other way to explain the election of such an inept, ignorant, immoral bullshitter. On the other hand, the election of such a person might more plausibly be taken to argue the atheist position. And if the evangelicals' affiliation with him does NOT discredit and disgrace them, then there surely is no God.
