Are Americans especially prone to be gullible when confronted with false claims and "advertising"?
Absolutely. Within the past four years, the American media has become more corrupt than previous decades. News channels have now chosen a specific political party to adhere thus pushing each party own beliefs and "alternative facts". Our "president" even pushes these principles on the news media to adhere directly what he believes. When social media first became present, adults used to warm their children, "Don't believe everything to hear and read on the internet!". Currently, it is the modern youth of America having to differentiate what is "fake news" and what is factual information for the older generations of the United States. The "event" has taken a 180 degrees spin on its head
