I thought it was interesting when they pointed out it's no longer a walk, it's referred to as a "trek". I kinda laughed because I say the same, "lets go for a hike", although there are times when I want to go for a "walk" I may say let's walk the dogs at 8pm.<br /><br />2. Things are always changing and evolving, although I do think history repeats itself in some aspect. I think the peripatetic style still holds true, when the body is in motion is when the energy is released the book says. <br /><br />3. There is something special about being alone and collecting/thinking about your thoughts. It depends on what I am wanting to think about if I want to be alone or not. If I am stressed out; I want to get outdoors and be with others that I love. If I have a big decision to make, I want to be outdoors but actually just sit. Because if I walk far, I have to walk back, ha.<br /><br />4. I do not consider walking as a sport, I do enjoy walking but I'm not going to call it a sport.
