We have to be free to make our own decision without looking for others for advice. That doesn't help us to be free if we depend and live as others suggest. He believe we look to others and live as they expect us too because we are all afraid of freedom and is running from it. <br />de Beauvoir book 'Second Sex" is claiming that women wasn't born women, but had to learn to become women. Women were accepting men view of what a women was and had to decided what she was by making her own choice of being free to do that. <br />Camus simply felt that life doesn't have any meaning until we give it meaning by making choices.
