Without a view, whether it be hopeful or full of dismay, I think your view helps shape the way that you act and behave in this world. For example, a pessimistic view may lead someone to not study for a big exam they are about to take because in their view it will end poorly anyway. Due to that, they may fail the exam. I guess truly though it goes back to the fate and deterministic arguments on whether anything matters.Kaite Berryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01456984746987114560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2619743764213415433.post-57306417113950155442016-10-25T12:07:18.200-05:002016-10-25T12:07:18.200-05:00I would interject yet another category of just don...I would interject yet another category of just don't care what happens tomorrow I believe that some people just do not care if tomorrow is good or bad I like to think that I am this way I don't have expectations because you have to role with whatever happens Nolightisdarknesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11579648984185911059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2619743764213415433.post-58839557681089125782016-10-24T11:54:30.044-05:002016-10-24T11:54:30.044-05:00Personally, I am neither a pessimist or optimist s...Personally, I am neither a pessimist or optimist so I don't think it is only 2 categories.seanw1313@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00173865445515709974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2619743764213415433.post-54149843578610081032016-10-23T21:34:14.436-05:002016-10-23T21:34:14.436-05:00I think there is some importance as to which way a...I think there is some importance as to which way a person views things. If they are optimist about situations, the outcome will probably be better. If they are a pessimist or a fatalist, the situation will probably seem worse than it is. It's about how you deal with it that matters.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04175547863301424002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2619743764213415433.post-14376298204459818462016-10-23T21:13:45.073-05:002016-10-23T21:13:45.073-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00674002505161293481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2619743764213415433.post-14625580908211676172016-10-23T21:09:09.397-05:002016-10-23T21:09:09.397-05:00(H3) I get what your saying. It's impossible to separate our views of the world from what we see every day; they are linked. That doesn't mean we can't try though.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00674002505161293481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2619743764213415433.post-22712971128615712152016-10-22T13:11:04.219-05:002016-10-22T13:11:04.219-05:00(H3) I it actually possible to be a realist thoug...(H3) I it actually possible to be a realist though. We say realism is just accepting things as they are, but how we perceive things will always be effected by how well we are apprised of the actual situation, and our own pessimistic or optimistic leanings. So is realism an attainable or just optimal state?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00716289131314599906noreply@blogger.com
