Midterm Reports

I'll ask on the 18th/19th for everyone to identify their groups (of 2 or 3) and topics, and then name an author & rep to post your group's report summary & quiz later; but if you figure it out sooner than that, stake your claim to the topic of your group's choice in the comments section below. Or, if you know a topic you'd like to do but haven't yet found anyone to work with, post it here in a comment. Maybe someone will find you.

Your topic can be a pre-Descartes philosopher, a philosophical concept (for example: free will, reality, truth, facts, wisdom, virtue, skepticism, doubt...), a philosophical school or tradition (Plato's Academy, Aristotle's Lyceum, the Cynics, the Stoics, the Skeptics, the philosophical significance of something in pop culture, one or more essays in The Stone, one of the "Recommended" texts... or something else that you've come up with and gotten my approval for.

Look on the CoPhi site, in the sidebar and below, to see if it gives you any ideas. Let me know what you're thinking about, or if you need help selecting a topic. I'll assign one, if you prefer.
