Hands Across MTSU

TODAY students, faculty, and staff will come together to display our campus unity. The plan is to create a human chain that stretches from the Student Union to Peck Hall. Imagine hundreds of us showing our campus pride and unity in this event we are calling “Hands Across MTSU”.

Anyone who wishes to participate and who are not in class should arrive at 12 noon. Go to the blue tent to receive a free t-shirt, a commemorative button, hot chocolate, and instructions on where to stand in line. If you have class until 12:25 p.m., then simply head to the outside of the Student Union, Quad (Library/BAS), KUC, or Peck Hall---whichever is closest to you and jump in line.

If possible, you are requested to wear MTSU Blue, the Hands Across MTSU shirt, or come as you are.

At 12:30 p.m., participants will be asked to join hands for a few minutes. The actual event will only last about 10 minutes.
