Anglo-American politics

The present political turmoil in the U.K., following yesterday's election results, should give us something else to chew on as we ponder Anglo-American minds. One way or another the Brits will "form a government" out of that evident chaos, they will "carry on" and get through their crisis of confidence. Can we say the same, in the U.S., especially in the aftermath of the Comey testimony? Wouldn't it be nice if we could call a "snap election" and reshuffle the deck of our executive branch in next few weeks? Any thoughts, AAMers?

It was bound to happen . I mean it is a big argument about the election and who won and all this talk of collosion and wiretapping and James Comey. I think it is wasting our as in all Americans time. All this is crazy and we are paying for these so called investigations and hearings . Everyone should be furious actually that these elected people president to congressman are not taking care of problems that we as Americans elected them for. We as a whole need health care , education , building of roads mass transits and jobs, all jobs are needed from the factory worker to the student dropping $200,000 on degrees. The man who won the presidency won leave it alone and let him get to work . All these elected officials hold a public office. They are public servants . We elected them to help better our lives not waste our time and money. I think everyone can agree on that.

  2. Well, the issue is whether he won fair and square or with the illicit assistance of a foreign power... and whether he or his "satellites" are lying about it. I agree that there are pressing issues that need addressing, but can any be more pressing than the integrity of our democracy?
