Registration for Spring 2017

A note from Academic Affairs:

As we approach priority registration for the spring 2017 semester, which runs November 7-18, please note the following reminders:

Spring Class Schedule:The spring course schedule is now viewable in RaiderNet. Be aware that the class schedule is under construction until registration begins in November as we continue to get updates from departments.
 Assigned Registration Times:Registration times for spring have been assigned and are viewable in RaiderNet. Attached are grids of registration dates and PINs, which are based on the number of credit hours earned. Early registration for athletes, honors scholars, veterans, and disabled students is scheduled for Friday, November 4 at 6:00 am. An overview of the assigned registration times is also available at the following link:http://www.mtsu.edu/registration/docs/Assigned_Registration_Times.pdf.  Please contact me directly if there are any issues or questions with an assigned time.
 Holds:Multiple types of holds will be placed on student accounts for priority registration.  Please do not remove holds for departments other than your own. If given permission to remove a hold, document the information on the Supplemental Data (lightbulb) field on SOAHOLD.

Permits and Overloads:Permits may now be entered for spring on SFASRPO and overloads may be entered on SFAREGS by those with their dean’s approval to adjust maximum registration hours. Please remember that permits should only be issued by the department that offers the course. Only the Honors College should enter permits for honors courses.  Non-TN eCampus students wishing to enroll in TN eCampus courses must complete a request through the following link for a permit: www.mtsu.edu/form.
 Spring Registration Guide:Please encourage students to access the guide at the following link: http://mtsu.edu/registration/registration-guide.php.  The registration guide contains important dates and deadlines related to registration, fee payment, and financial aid.  Please provide the link to the registration guide in your communication with students about advising and priority registration!
