"The pluralistic form takes for me a stronger hold on reality than any other philosophy I know of, being essentially a social philosophy, a philosophy of 'co'"-William James
I also had the same thoughts from the Pain arch. Just like Pain said, people fight wars to protect their family/friends/home. And on the opposing side, people fight for the same reasons. Yet they both continue to fight because they exclude the other. People don't understand their "enemy". To create understanding, Pain forces others to feel pain. Furthermore, the only way to achieve true peace would be to make a rigid social structure, similar to Plato's idea of utopia. But by the time it is achieved, it wouldn't have been worth it.
