"God is Dead" Friedrich Nietzsche

Friedrich Nietzsche is a romantic era western philosopher born in 1844 and died in 1900. His influences are the philosophers Arthur Schopenhauer, Immanuel Kant, and Plato. He is a German philosopher and he also was a critic of culture. He would go on to become one of the most influential of modern thinkers. He was trying to figure out the motivations behind certain things such as religion, mortality, and also even philosophy.
Which leads into the fact that he was an atheist philosopher by some people’s standpoints leads into one of his most known statements “God is dead.” Which he was celebrated the most after his death. Nietzsche’s made this statement after searching for answers to some of his questions he would try to answer through the process of using science and reason.
In his early years his home was a stronghold of Lutheran piety. As he aged he would go to the University of Bonn to study theology and classical philology. He would go on to study many things and try to solve them with reason which lead to his mature years of study and research.
In his mature years he was very preoccupied by the origin and the reasoning behind values and how they affected the human life. It would seem as though he never believed that life neither could possess nor had lost intrinsic values but even so it seems as though it was something that was always being evaluated and would then move to a symptoms of the condition of being evaluated. Which would lead to his growing interest in probing an analysis and better understanding of the religion, mortality, and philosophy of the western culture.
The idea is that suffering can and in most cases becomes endowed with this view of ultimate significance. His example would be the Christian religion and idea that suffering is a tolerable idea because it is interoperated as an act of God intention and a known way of atonement. The belief is that each life as its own individual cosmic significance.
Though in Nietzsche’s critique about this thought of mortality centered on the thought of master and slave morality. Which parallels with the concept of good and bad. Meaning those who are non morality reference to the over privileged, the masters, compared to the bases. This good and evil battle can go further into thought when the slaves who convert the attributes of the master into things that would become bad such as the meek shall inherit this made having things such as pride to be a sin; but to be charitable, have humiliation, and to be obedient is admirable and to be competitive, prideful, and to have dominance is a problem.
This lead to the term “Nihilism” used to describe the devolution of values posed by ascetic ideas. He thought that this age of people have now moved away from God and into an age of reasoning and science and other things and political fractures became people’s God including that of wanting to find answers though science and also to have this new sense of nationalism as the a surrogate God.
