In my first installment for my "This I Believe" final, I talked about how I believed in the power of perseverance and the physical challenges I faced. In this installment, I plan on discussing how I believe in the power of hope.Hope is defined as the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. Personally, I have always struggled with having hope. There really hasn't been a reason for me to have hope. The times when I was hopeful was when that was the only choice I had. Recently, I've become more and more mindful about hope and how I can implement hope into my life. Having hope can assist someone in their work life, in their social life, and beyond. Individuals may be hopeful about getting accepted into a particular college, about finding a spouse, about having children, or passing their final exams. Hope is often stressed in religious communities, such as churches and synagogues. Hope is usually an important aspect of a person's life, and hope can help them overcome challenges that they may be facing. I believe in hope.
