Section 8, G2, Love

Love

In order to love someone, one should understand what love is. Now it doesn’t have to be an exact definition, but what does it feel to you? How have you felt it before? Have you experienced love before? When it comes to loving someone else such as your mate, I feel as though your souls are traveling through the wind just waiting to meet each other than when it happens, you know it. Is it possible to have more than one soul mate, of course there is but does it feel the same?
I’m the type of person to believe in fairy tale endings and finding love at first at sight. At this time and period of day, I still believe in teenage love! I love seeing old couples that have been together since they were 18, or 20, for some reason, that is the sweetest thing to me. Think about it, you finally find that one person that you’re meant to be with and it’s a match. The love is equal and even when t gets tough, they don’t split apart. That’s what real love is. I often think back to the chapter of love in our philosophy book and the story about being cut in half and finding yourself is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever heard. Being cut I half then having to find your soulmate, then when you do find him or her, you get to spend the rest of your lives together. Isn’t that kind of what humans do already?

Now when it comes to loving yourself, that’s a whole different love. You have to love yourself first before anyone can. I love the crap out of myself. It’s a confidence and self-esteem booster and that’s something that usually lacks in the personal department. Loving yourself is step one in the whole equation. This also ties into happiness from eudaimonia from my first post. Once you begin to love yourself, then you begin to flourish into a new person that you will love. Find what makes you happy, love yourself, and show it. You don’t have to show it to the crowd, but definitely show it yourself, your body will appreciate it more.
