Philthy Philosophers, Section 8-3

Our group discussed the existence of god and what moral impact that may make on us as individuals. We focused on the concept of being a good and kind person, regardless if you believe in a higher power. I talked about what is known as the Atheist Wager, which is a response made by Michael Martin to Pascal's Wager. He taught that one should life a life devoid of religion. A loving and kind god would reward good deeds regardless of belief, and if no god exists, then a good person will have left behind a positive legacy.

FQ: Who was the originator of the "Logical Problem of Evil"?

DQ: Something we see as good can easily become bad, and vice-versa. Since the two are relative, could a set of commandments or theological laws ever be bad even if they're "direct" statements from a deity?
