I assume we forgot to appoint an author yesterday. Here is a quick post I'm throwing up for anyone in our group that needs somewhere to post FQ's and DQ's.

FQ: What was Bentham's design for a circular prison, which he described as 'a machine for grinding rogues honest', called?
DQ: What would happen if everyone in the world were physically incapable of telling a lie and were forced to tell the truth no matter what, even if it went against everything you were feeling emotionally on the inside because it could potentially hurt someone you care about?
Link: This movie immediately popped in my head while reading about Kant and the concept of morality when it comes to telling the truth. If you haven't seen Liar Liar starring Jim Carrey, it's friggin great. He's a lawyer that lies on a daily basis not only for personal gain but also to avoid hurting people like his son, whom he's always too busy for, until his son's birthday wish forces him to tell the truth for 24 hours. First of all, I think we would all be lying if we said we did not tell the occasional white lie. Whether it is to protect someone, or to protect ourselves.
I would like to counter question you, Does leaving information out of the entire truth qualify as lying?
