Today, we talked covered the material from last Thursday and today. While we did not have discussion time, we took our usual quiz and covered the class material. We also talked about voting. Why should we vote? Does one vote matter? What do you look for when you pick candidates? Feel free to ponder this or even answer in the comments.

  1. Factual Questions:
    1) What is the name of Immanuel Kant's most famous book, written in 1781?
    2) T/F: Synthetic knowledge requires experience or observation and gives us new information
    3) T/F: Kane believed that morality should be largely based on emotion

    Discussion Questions:
    1) Do you believe you learn more through observation or experience?
    2) Do the ends always justify the means? Or are there some instances in which there is only one moral course of action?
