Sports is the pulse of society
It something that no matter where you're from
No matter your ethnicity
No matter your athletic preference, you just seem to fit in
Sports is a place were everyone is welcomed
This I Believe
Sports get people revved up
From the swing of the bat that results in a walk off home run
Or maybe the hat trick on the ice exonerates the crowd
Or even that last second bucket that seals the victory for your favorite that makes the arena rock
What the sporting miracle, it something that causes you on edge and root freely
This I Believe
In sports people are free to themselves
Root for whom ever the feel is greatest
Form and voice their opinions and views openly, without withdrawals
In sports although everyone doesn't see eye to eye, everyone still can be seen and heard
Sports in all cases, gives people the fire inside that can burn bright for the world to see and accept
Sports are the escape from the wiles of everyday normalities.
