Group 1 section 14

Today we discussed the idea of tabula rasa, we went over our three discussion questions. The ideas we talked about is nature vs. nurture and the component that creates two very different people. We discussed the idea that the earliest memories and only memories define you.

    DQ: When you think of such things as the Westboro Baptist Church, the KKK, and other hate groups, could you still believe as Voltaire that "I hate what you say, but I will fight to the death your right to say it."? Do you think that we can have free speech if we do not allow hate groups to persist?
