Thunder Dragons

As most of us know, we didn't have any discussion last Wednesday. We simply came in, took the test, and walked out with eyes beaming or the head hanging. This post can be a post for us all to post our questions and comments on the reading.

  1. FQ: who is associated with German Idealism? Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel
DQ: How does Hegel relate to Kant?

  2. Charles Darwin made exceptional scientific explorations and discoveries. His work was phenomenal. True to an extent. Yes, species gradually change as they adapt to their environment. But that's an extremely slow process. Like, thousands of years slow. So for humans to come out of apes? Nah, I don't think so.

FQ: Who authored 'On the Origin of Species'? (answer: Charles Darwin)
DQ: Can there be evolution and a God centered creation?
    Link: Good stuff, http://darwin200.christs.cam.ac.uk/pages/index.php?page_id=j2

  3. FQ: What was Charles Darwin's nationality? English
DQ: Does Darwin's view conflict with religion and society today?
