Olivers Favs

Today we went on another peripatetic with doing so we had the very interesting topic of if we were overcome by a voice would we do as the voice says? We had some slight confusion on this particular topic because we were unsure if it was a bible reference which in Christianity they do not go by. (Another group member can elaborate more if needed) We made discussed the relation between Socrates and Kierkegaard being fond of the walks we are all on board with this and believe Oliver had an excellent idea on allowing the class to participate in such activities. Finally we discussed the fact that back in the day there was not a lot of female philosophers, but we made an assumption that it was probably those days women weren't exactly allowed to speak freely. It's safe to say that is a good reason for them not doing so.

Thank you,
Jay Mashburn

  2. Might be good. James says one size of belief does not fit all. For some it would be good to NOT believe.

DQ) Is it possible to have a truth about anything that will never be disproven? Does that not contradict science in some sense? Does it comply with science in other words?
